Tenue victorienne: Le jupon / Victorian Outfit: The petticoat

Je viens juste à l'instant de terminer mon jupon victorien.

Je n'ai pas encore fais le rajout à boutonner sur l'arrière pour accompagner les jupes à traînes ni la balayeuse mais pour début juillet je n'en aurais pas besoin (ni n'aurais le temps vu les travaux qui se sont ajoutés au niveau de la maison).

Je ferais sans doute un second jupon dans le futur, juste au cas où et en suivant un autre patron que celui que j'ai utilisé cette fois-ci (patron trouvé sur Pinterest mais je n'arrive plus a mettre la main dessus).

Pour ce premier jupon il s'agit donc d'un jupon en coton blanc (de chez Ikea) avec une décoration toute simple constituée de deux tour de ruban de satin cousu le long de l'ourlet. Si j'ai le temps et l'envie je pourrais peut être ajouter un peu de broderie blanche, ça pourrait être joli.

Un jupon sobre donc!

Sur l'arrière j'ai placé une coulisse pour relever le jupon si il était porté avec un support pour la jupe plus petit que la queue d'écrevisse.

I have just now finished my Victorian petticoat.

I did not make the addition of a train to button on the back nor the "balayeuse" because for the event in July I will have no need for these (nor have the time saw the works added to the house).

I would probably make a second petticoat in the future, just in case, and following an another pattern that I used this time (pattern found on Pinterest but I am unable to get my hands on it).

For this first petticoat it is a white cotton petticoat (from Ikea) with a simple decoration consisting of two satin ribbon rounds sewn along the hem. If I have the time and inclination I might be adding a little white embroidery, it could be pretty.

So a sober petticoat!

On the back I placed a slide to raise the petticoat so it could be worn with smaller support for the skirt than the lobster tail.

Le mannequin est réglé sur ma taille sans talons, la partie arrière ne touchera donc presque pas au niveau du sol. / The dummy is set to my height without heels, the rear part thus hardly touch the ground level.
