Tenue victorienne: La jupe, système de retroussage / Victorian Outfit: The skirt, lifting system

Dernier article sur la jupe victorienne!

Elle est finie, elle est belle, elle est longue, très looooongue, trop longue!

Donc on va retrousser tout ça, mais attention avec une méthode cohérente avec le projet!

Dans le Pattern of Fashion 2 une méthode est bien montrée (parmi d'autre en fait); cette méthode consiste en un système de boutons et de ruban pourvus de boutonnières, le tout permettant de régler la longueur de la jupe ou de la surjupe.

De plus ce système facilite le repassage des vêtements vu qu'il suffit de les détacher pour obtenir un tissus bien plat et donc facile a repasser, ensuite il faut juste attacher de nouveau les boutons et les boutonnières.

J'ai donc cousu 5 boutons à l'intérieur de la jupe (sur l'envers) ainsi que 5 ruban de sergé (fixés au niveau de la ceinture).

So I sewed 5 buttons inside of the skirt and 5 twill tape (attached at the waist).

J'ai prévu deux niveaux de retroussage, un court au ras du sol et un autre, un rien plus long, où le dos de la jupe touche le sol juste un peu.

J'obtiens donc ceci:
