Halloween 2015 : Lady Coeur-de-Pierre (Game of Thrones): Le tissus de la robe-manteau / Lady Stoneheart (Game of Thrones): The fabric gown

J'avais déjà travaillé un peu en vue de faire ce genre de robe.

J'ai pris mon tissus (une coupe de 5 m d'un tissus un peu extensible... en longueur... Je sais c'est bizarre!), j'ai pris le patron déjà essayé (après avoir vérifié que mes mensurations n'avaient pas changé) et j'ai coupé mes pièces!

Aujourd'hui je vais expliquer le choix du tissus.

Alors, les raisons du choix sont:

- Son prix! On parle de moins de 5 €/mètre! J'avais besoin d'un truc pour Halloween vite très vite, j'avais zappé Halloween (donc pas de budget prévu, donc j'ai été au moins cher possible) et je ne voulais pas trop m'en vouloir si je me plantais dans ma coupe (ce qui est arrivé mais ça sera expliqué dans un prochain article). D'où le choix de ce type de tissus. Par contre du coup je n'ai pas pu faire la difficile, j'ai du choisir dans une certaine gamme de tissus et me retrouve au final avec un tissus extensible dans la longueur (ouais... je sais... bizarre...).

- Son look: La couleur très sombre gris-noir m'a fait penser aux personnages nordiens de Game of Thrones, ils portent toujours (ou presque) des teintes sombres. Le motif irrégulier m'a fait penser à la robe que Sansa porte dans l'auberge dans la saison 5; pas tout à fait le même mais on reste dans la même idée.

- Il en restait assez! Souvent il ne reste pas assez de tissus pour faire ce que je veux! Bon, souvent je fais des trucs gourmands en tissus mais du coup je tombes souvent sur des tissus qui m'inspirent mais il reste un ou deux mètres sur le rouleau et ce n'est pas assez pour faire ce que j'avais imaginé! Là il restait pile 5 m! Chance!

- C'est un tissus d'hiver: Il est épais! C'est con mais parfois c'est utile! Autant au niveau du tombé du tissus qu'au niveau de sa tenue c'est une bonne chose sur ce coup-là!

- Il m'a fait penser a plus d'un personnage de game of Thrones! Sansa Bolton, Catelyn Stark,... Dois-je en citer d'autre?

Pour les décorations (minimales), un biais de coton noir et un passepoil aux bords. C'est tout! parfois faire simple c'est bien aussi!

I worked a bit on this kind of dress before today.

I take my fabric (a 5 meters cut of stretch fabric), I take the pattern that I test before (after shecking that my measures didn't change) and I cut the differents parts!

Today I will explain the choice of the fabric.

The reasons of this choice are:

- His price! Less than 5 €/meter! I was needed something for Halloween quick very quick, I wasn't having a real budget for it (so the cheaper is the best) and I wasn't wanted to worry to much if I was doing it wrong with it (it happens... I will explain in a future article). That's why I choose this kind of fabric! Strange thing... It is stretch... Lenghthwise!

- His look: The color very dark color grey-black made me think about nordians characters of Game of Thrones, they wear (a lot) of dark colors. The irregular pattern on the fabric makes me think about the dress wears by Sansa in the tavern in the season 5; not exactly the same but the idea is the same!

- There was enough! Often I find some beautifull fabric, imagine something to do with it and... there is not enough fabric to do it on the roll! This time there was still just 5 meters on the roll! lucky I was!

- It makes me think about more than one Game of Thrones characters! Sansa Bolton, Catelyn Stark, ... Do I need to say anything more?

For the decorations, it is just a black coton piping at the edges. Simple! Sometimes it's good too!
